WOW! Your pictures are beautiful! What a photogenic little family you have. I got on your blog the other day and read your story, the reading made me a little late for my yoga class so I didn't have time to comment but I want to. Mel, you have one of the biggest hearts of anyone I know. When you love someone, you hold nothing back. I think that that's how it should be, but it also tends to have a down side- you also get hurt, worse because of your intense emotions. Don't stop caring about people because someone chooses not to recieve it. As I read, I thought of that Garth Brooks song "Standing Outside the Fire." You live more fully because you care more deeply. You are a truly beautiful person, both inside and out. Don't feel at all like you need to change that about you. So, there it is! I'm holding nothing back and telling you what I really think. Have a great day babe! P.S. I'll call you next time I need a photographer :)

Can I just "ditto" what Tara said, please? I read your other post, but was on my out to carpool kids to school, so didn't get a chance to comment. But she pretty much summed it up. I don't think there are more than a handful of people on this earth with whom we will have that "perfect" connection -- and you know them the second you meet them. And that doesn't mean that there aren't loads of others who will be good friends. But they might not be forever. Someone told me once that "Friends come into our lives for a reason, a season, or a lifetime." I believe it takes a lot of practice, and a lot of wisdom to figure out who's who. But I also believe that we risk missing out if we hold back friendship out of fear. And yeah, sometimes it may not be reciprocated, and we may end up hurt. But it's worth it when you find those friends that stay with you.

So, gorgeous pictures -- too bad you're going to have to take even more in a few months! =)

Love you!

I love how these turned out and seriously, you can probably tell by the smiles, but we were having a blast taking these pictures! We were up Hobble Creek Canyon. Jennifer Grigg was the photographer. We got a 100 pics on a CD that we can print to our hearts content for only $150. She's so talented and creative. It was a great experience. -She lives in Mom and Nicole's ward. She's the one that took those cute pics of Nicole and the kids.

Very cute family Melanie! Hope you are all well and that new baby isn't causing you to "toss your cookies" so much! It's hard for me to believe you're married with babies! Just last week you were a teenager playing with my baby girls! Say "hello" to everyone for me...

Take care!

(By the way, this is your cousin in Ohio! :)
