Valentine's Day Primary Activity

We had great plans of going up to Bear Lake to play with the family b/c it was President's Day weekend as well as Valentine's Day, but instead, got the "Bug" and spent most of the weekend in bed. It was nice to stay here at home and have soup and snuggle as a family though. Josh was feeling a little better and he really wanted to go to his primary activity so I took him over to it. They sang songs and had different activities for the kids. The theme was "I love my eternal family". They decorated bags for the valentine's to go in and then made valentines for anyone they wanted to, but especially for those that weren't there. It was a cute activity...but it was snowing and I was grateful to get back home and back to bed!
Here's a video of Josh, trying to sing a primary song he doesn't know. I had to laugh. I told him we need to practice his songs more so he can remember the words. ;D

Belly Pics

So for all of you that have been wanting me to post a "belly" shot...here you go. :D This is at the baby shower. This is me at 28 weeks. Julia, Jason's sister, is about 2 1/2 weeks away from delivery.

Draper Temple Openhouse

As you know, I'm the YW president in my ward. We have several inactive girls and so we are working with them to help them see the value and benefit of being a part of such a great ward, and organization. One family in particular we have been working with for some time now. We found out that they are REALLY interested in the temple and wanting the opportunity to be sealed as a family. But the mom is single...so its going to take some time and miracles to make that happen...however, I've really tried to help them understand the meaning and purpose of the YW program is to help prepare young girls to enter the temple and be prepared to make and keep the covenants that are made there. So with the openhouse of the Draper temple, it was a perfect opportunity to let their entire family have a glimpse of what its like inside a temple. It turned out to be a great trip!
