Computer problems...and Ailing minds and bodies...

So its almost been a month since I posted...and its been driving me crazy, but even if we weren't having probs with the computer, we've had lots of sickness at our house....dragged out!! Ugh! I'm really grateful that I don't get sick very often, but man, being pregnant and sick...NOT FUN!!! Its still lingering but atleast I can function again. Plus, we're very excited because we've been preparing to go to California for 10 days. Wahoo!!! I'm just praying for warm weather...I need the SUN!

So much has happened this week....many posts that need to be made but not the time right now...so look forward to some funny posts about Josh, some tender mercies from the Lord, Josh's 5th B-day, and when we get back, our trip to CA. We'll see you in a couple of weeks. :D

Love ya!.....and as Josh said to me, "People aren't going to see me when we're down in CA so they will miss me." lol

Happy Birthday Dad!

I just wanted to pay a tribute to my dad. Over the last 3 years our relationship has been deeply enriched and we've been able to talk openly like never before. I'm so grateful to have him in my life. I didn't have a very positive relationship with him growing up but with the power of the atonement all things are possible! I now consider him a close friend and I'm so grateful that he's been willing to grow with me so that we could forgive each other and "re-start" our relationship. Sunday was his 66th Birthday and we were able to have him over that night for some brownies and ice-cream. We visited quite a while as a family and then Jason and Josh needed to get to bed but Dad and I talked until after midnight. It was seriously the best conversation I've ever had with him. We were both able to open up like we've never been able to before and talk about hard things w/o either of us getting offended. It was so healing. He's currently called as a service missionary for a seminary program in American Fork helping students with disabilities. His attitude about life and his countenance has just brightened so much. I'm so happy for him. Its been such an immense positive change! So Dad, if you ever read my blog, I want you to know how much I love you and thank you for being engaged in my life! xoxo

Yeah! I got my list updated!

So after a lot of time-consuming work...I got (hopefully) all of my old list plus many more that I had wanted to add to my list. I really like having the list so I can follow all you wonderful people and what's happening in your lives. Please, if I've failed to add yours and you'd like to have it linked on mine, please feel free to let me know. Thanks Everyone!
